Rules and regulations 

BIIBAS, a wholly owned subsidiary of the BII, the professional body for the licensed retail sector, runs the Scheme under which Pub Companies can apply to have their Codes of Practice benchmarked alongside the Criteria as clear as to the business relationship offered.

The Steering Committee of BIIBAS determines the Criteria.

The Benchmarking Committee of BIIBAS reviews Codes of Practice alongside the Criteria and, where appropriate, awards Benchmarked Status.

Any Pub Company wishing to have its Code of Practice benchmarked in accordance with the Rules, may make an application to BIIBAS.

Continued Benchmarked Status will depend on continued compliance with these Rules.
