Structure of BIIBAS 

BII Benchmarking and Accreditation Services Ltd (BIIBAS) is a not-for-profit company and is a wholly owned subsidiary of BII, the professional body for the licensed retail sector.

BIIBAS is made up as follows:

• A Steering Committee which determines the Criteria against which pub operating company codes of practice are benchmarked
• A Benchmarking Committee which reviews the codes of practice alongside the Criteria and,
  where appropriate, awards Benchmarked Status
• A Scheme Secretariat which is the Scheme's permanent administrative body
